President, Sage Certified Consultant – Sage 300, Sage CRM, Sage HRMS

Nicole has been implementing computerized accounting solutions since they made the jump from mainframe computers to the PC in the 80’s. After her initial training as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Nicole served at several large accounting firms including Deloitte & Touche. During this time, she was called upon to assess the computerized accounting needs of clients and then recommend and implement solutions that would help them to become more efficient and profitable. In 1993, she founded D&A to continue serving this need. Since then, the quality, dependability and affordability of Sage 300 solutions (formerly Accpac) have increased and so has her list of clients, initially developed solely through the referrals of her satisfied clients. In addition to the Sage 300 Accounting modules, Nicole is also certified in Sage HRMS and Sage CRM and has experience with many third party applications designed to integrate with Sage 300.


Jim King

Administrative Coordinator

Jim has taken a step back from his internal sales and project management roles to focus on the time-consuming task of managing our day-to-day accounting and administration. He is available to assist if you have any questions with respect to D&A product/service invoices and payment options as well as Sage & Third Party software maintenance renewal invoices which can sometimes be difficult to understand.

Mariam Lkhoyaali PMP, ITIL

Project & Account Manager

Mariam joined our Team in September 2022 to take over the management of our growing number of upgrades, system implementations, and programming/customization projects. She will work with you on the progress of your projects to ensure they are on track and aligned with the scope, budget, and schedule. You can also approach her to get quotes for your upgrade projects or other solutions.

In her career to date, Mariam has held various positions in the IT industry including customer service, business development, and partner management.  She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which, in conjunction with her fluency in English, French, and Arabic, will serve as a good foundation to assist our team in managing our various projects.

Peter Leroux

IT Specialist/Programmer, Sage Certified Consultant – Sage CRM

Peter has over 10 years experience configuring and administering networked environments. His broad base of knowledge includes the most common operating systems, database software, programming software and network infrastructure running in today’s businesses. His formal training was completed at Algonquin College and his past experience includes administrating networks and managing support specialists for Ginsberg, Gluzman, Fage & Levitz Chartered Accountants and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Peter’s knowledge allows our clients to benefit from crossover services between Sage 300, the operating system and the network. This is becoming more and more important due to the complexity of the new generation of web-based applications and their high level of integration. Peter is certified by Sage to install and customize their CRM application, which is an excellent example of this type of web-based, integrated architecture. In addition, since our business does not involve the sale of hardware, he can be invaluable in doing assessments in order to provide an objective viewpoint in designing future networking strategies.

Deborah Quevillon

With over 10 years experience in the field of Marketing and Communications, Deborah brings a wealth of knowledge in curating, planning and managing content geared towards the technology industry. She has adapted her marketing strategy throughout the years to grow alongside the ever changing social trends. As a part time small business owner, she understands the need to standardize processes and find the best solution for company management. Conveying such messages on behalf of D&A continues to be her passion in order to maintain the highest standards for the brand.


Gerry Durant

Certified Sales Consultant – Sage 300

Gerry is our Sage 300 Sales Consultant who brings long and varied sales experience to this role. Beginning in consumer-packaged goods Territory, District and Key Account Management, mid-level management and then retail sales management. Gerry joined ACCPAC in 1999.  After working for ACCPAC/Sage for 10 years in progressively more senior Account Manager roles, Gerry has worked in the Sage 300 community since leaving Sage.  He is a knowledgeable resource for Sage 300 solutions and retains good contacts within that alumni.  He also possesses great contacts and resources within the Independent Software Vendor world of 3rd party publishers who provide a host of great companion solutions to Sage 300.  Working with our customers is his favorite thing to do, and Gerry is eager to help them get the most from their existing Sage 300 solution.

Kevin is our Sales Consultant for the world’s fastest growing cloud ERP, Acumatica. He has over 15 years of corporate sales experience with the last 10 spent selling technology within the Transportation and Logistics Industry. Kevin is a quick thinker that’s adept at relationship building with customers, peers, and staff. He enjoys taking on new challenges and is proficient in verbal and written communication in both French and English.

Joël joined D&A back in 2002 to create a marketing plan to help plot the company’s future direction. The plan revealed an opportunity to reposition the company’s focus from implementing accounting systems to a broader business management solutions focus and creating a multidisciplinary Team of consulting talent to support these solutions. This opened up an opportunity for him to apply his business and marketing knowledge to manage the internal marketing and CRM practice areas of the business. After more than 20 years, he’s passed on the marketing responsibilities to focus on implementing and supporting Sage CRM, for which he has maintained a certification for over 20 years.

Éric Gauvreau

ERP Software Consultant, Sage Certified Consultant – Sage 300

Eric has spent the past 10 years doing software implementations, solving Accpac-related problems and coaching small to medium businesses on how they can better manage their business processes using tools to maximize efficiency and profitability. This valuable experience was founded on a Certified Management Accounting (CMA) degree, a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in accounting, and several years as a controller in the construction industry. As well, he has put his expertise to good use teaching Accpac courses for accounting students at La Cité Collégiale. Over the years, Eric’s quest for knowledge has earned him certifications in all areas of Sage 300, including the financial and operations suite, payroll, CRM and project and job costing. Lastly, he also provides expertise in Crystal Reports, SQL, Pervasive and Access databases, and is available to provide services and training in both official languages.

Jeff Rodrigue

Software Consultant, Sage Certified Consultant – Sage 300

Over the past 30 years, Jeff has helped clients from a wide cross-section of industries find unique solutions to their finance and reporting needs using a combination of computer, financial and programming knowledge. Prior to joining the Team at D&A, Jeff did ACCPAC implementations for the accounting firm of Scott, Rankin, Gordon & Gardiner in Ottawa’s west end before launching his own company, SRGG Solutions, when the firm merged with Deloitte in 2008. In 2016, Jeff made the decision to become a part of D&A’s team of Sage consultants where his strong background and experience has been a welcome addition. Jeff is well-versed in all areas of Sage 300, including the financial and operations suite, payroll modules and many of the Third Party add-on applications that enhance productivity. He also enjoys adding value by customizing clients’ systems using macros, Crystal Reports and Sage Intelligence, the latest in reporting solutions.

Pierre Bérubé CPA, CGA

Software Consultant, Sage Certified Consultant – Sage 300

Graduate of l’Université du Québec in Montreal’s Accounting program and having obtained his CGA designation in 1993, Pierre has travelled down a road that has taken him from owner of an accounting firm, to owner of two retail franchises to his current work as a consultant for the past 20 odd years. As a Sage 300 applications specialist, he has gained considerable experience from the many implementation projects he has done over the years. His interpersonal skills, field experience and pragmatism make him an excellent project manager. Of special note, Pierre has carried out complex projects involving the integration of more than 50 entities using Orchid’s Inter Entity module and knows the GL consolidation module as well as Technisoft’s Service Maintenance module. He is an expert is Crystal and will try to influence you to adopt the SQL queries for the analysis of your data.

Michel St-Amand

Sage Certified Consultant – Sage 300

Michel joined the D&A Team in 2018 as part of an agreement with our Montreal-based partner whose focus had moved away from Sage. He continues to support the same group of Sage 300 clients he has been supporting over the past 10 years along with the rest of our clients now. As an experienced Sage 300 support specialist and user of Sage 300/ACCPAC since the end of the DOS version days (2008), he is able to provide a high level of support in both official languages by phone or remote connection. He can help you troubleshoot errors, fill in the gaps in your Sage 300 knowledge or get that new workstation installed efficiently. His knowledge and understanding of Sage 300 accounting is based as well on a 15+ year career as a Financial controller, IT manager and Executive for a tool steel distributor.

Mel Marulanda BBA

Software Consultant, Sage Certified Consultant – Sage 300

Immediately after completing his Bachelor of Business Administration (Major in Accounting) at Bishop’s University, Mel joined ACCPAC International as an Advantage Series (Now Sage 300) Technical Support Specialist where he spent close to 3 years applying his technical knowledge and accounting education researching and resolving a wide variety of application and system-related issues for English, French and Spanish language users. Since those days at ACCPAC, Mel has worked as a Certified Consultant in Sage 300 (formerly ACCPAC) and Sage HRMS, providing clients with a full range of implementation services including the analysis of current environments and accounting procedures, conversion of data, application training, documentation of new procedures, customizations (reports, forms and screens) and technical support. Mel focuses his efforts on Sage 300, Sage HRMS and Norming Fixed Assets.
