Canadiana-themed video launches online contest giving away 50 toonies every two weeks until the end of September

Richmond, B.C. – As Canadians from coast to coast to coast ready themselves for the upcoming Canada Day long weekend and celebrations, Sage North America and Sage Simply Accounting, the #1 choice of Canadian small businesses and accountants(i) and used by more than 500,000 Canadian businesses, is preparing for its upcoming transition in October 2012 to Sage 50 Accounting–Canadian Edition by poking fun of at all things Canadiana.

From double-doubles and cruller donuts to hockey and poutine to beavers and Mounties, Sage leaves no stereotype unturned in an online video celebrating Canadianisms being launched today. Complementing the Canadiana-themed video, from today until September 30, Sage will be giving away 50 toonies every two weeks to a total of seven lucky Canucks through a Facebook contest. All Canucks need to do is watch the video and fill out a contest entry form identifying three Canadianisms in the video.
