Later this month, Sage is expected to release their Product Update 1 for Sage 300 ERP 2012 (formerly Sage ERP Accpac). It will include a number of interesting new features that I will be blogging about.
For the first time ever, Sage is including a CRM-integrated feature in their ERP update allowing you to look up ERP inventory items right from CRM. Here's how it works:
On the Company Summary screen in Sage CRM, an Item Inventory button will now appear when you view a Sage 300 ERP linked customer. This button will allow you to search for an Item from Sage 300's inventory control module and then quickly create a quote or order. Once you have found your Item, you can drill down to view the Item Information as well as the on-hand quantities for all the locations you have set up in I/C.
