Nicole has been implementing computerized accounting solutions since they made the jump from mainframe computers to the PC in the 80's. After her initial training as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Nicole served at several large accounting firms including Deloitte & Touche. During this time, she was called upon to assess the computerized accounting needs of clients and then recommend and implement solutions that would help them to become more efficient and profitable. In 1993, she founded D&A to continue serving this need. Since then, the quality, dependability and affordability of Accpac’s solutions have increased and so has her list of clients, initially developed solely through the referrals of her satisfied clients. In addition to the Sage Accpac ERP Accounting modules, Nicole is also certified in Sage Accpac HRMS/Abra and SageCRM and has experience with many third party applications designed to integrate with Sage Accpac ERP. |

Joël is responsible for the creation, implementation and monitoring of our strategic marketing plan. He is working to ensure that we really understand our clients’ needs and deliver, as a Team, the best possible solution, on time and on budget. In addition, he brings life to our marketing campaigns and manages our CRM division. His prior experience as a business owner has covered all aspects of business operations and management. Joël completed the Executive MBA program at the University of Ottawa’s School of Management and is also certified by Sage in CRM. |

His background includes project management responsibilities for several larger retailers in Ottawa, including Bank Street Framing, McIntosh & Watts and Inly Computers. |

Jacqui has over 10 years experience with ACCPAC's accounting system. This has given her the skills to analyze and automate the systems and processes handled within a company by the accounting system. This experience builds on a foundation of 4 years of CGA training and many years working in a Toronto-based accounting firm, Rose & Coutts. Her knowledge extends to several industries including the manufacturing, retail, property development and construction industries. In addition to the core accounting and business management modules, Jacqui has significant expertise in implementing payroll systems and ACCPAC’s Human Resources module. Lastly, she has considerable experience in converting data and designing forms using Crystal Reports. |

Immediately after completing his Bachelor of Business Administration (Major in Accounting) at Bishop’s University, Mel joined ACCPAC International as an Advantage Series (now Sage Accpac ERP) Technical Support Specialist where he spent close to 3 years applying his technical knowledge and accounting education researching and resolving a wide variety of application and system-related issues for English, French and Spanish language users. Since those days at ACCPAC, Mel has worked as a Certified Consultant in Sage Accpac ERP and HRMS, providing clients with a full range of implementation services including the analysis of current environments and accounting procedures, conversion of data, application training, documentation of new procedures, customizations (reports, forms and screens) and technical support. Mel focuses his efforts on Sage Accpac ERP, Sage Accpac HRMS/Abra and Norming Fixed Assets. |

Peter has over 10 years experience configuring and administering networked environments. His broad base of knowledge includes the most common operating systems, database software, programming software and network infrastructure running in today's businesses. His formal training was completed at Algonquin College and his past experience includes administrating networks and managing support specialists for Ginsberg, Gluzman, Fage & Levitz Chartered Accountants and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Peter’s knowledge allows our clients to benefit from crossover services between ACCPAC, the operating system and the network. This is becoming more and more important due to the complexity of the new generation of web-based applications and their high level of integration. Peter is certified by Sage to install and customize their CRM application, which is an excellent example of this type of web-based, integrated architecture. In addition, since our business does not involve the sale of hardware, he can be invaluable in doing assessments in order to provide an objective viewpoint in designing future networking strategies. |

Julie has a degree in both Business Administration and an Honours degree in Commerce. She began her career managing an accounting department for a large local construction firm. Her strong educational background and work experience is an asset when working with clients. She is a Quickbooks ProAdvisor, Certified Sage HRMS Consultant and Simply Accounting Premier Advisor. Julie also has considerable experience with Sage Accpac ERP and designing forms in Crystal reports. A member of the Canadian Bookkeepers Association, she is knowledgeable on both the accounting and software side of business.

Eric has spent the past 10 years doing software implementations, solving Accpac-related problems and coaching small to medium businesses on how they can better manage their business processes using tools to maximize efficiency and profitability. This valuable experience was founded on a Certified Management Accounting (CMA) degree, a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in accounting, and several years as a controller in the construction industry. As well, he has put his expertise to good use teaching Accpac courses for accounting students at La Cité Collégiale. Over the years, Eric's quest for knowledge has earned him certifications in all areas of the Sage Accpac Extended Enterprise Suite, including the financial and operations suite, payroll, CRM and project and job costing. Lastly, he also provides expertise in Crystal Reports, SQL, Pervasive and Access databases, and is available to provide services and training in both official languages. |

Mike has been working with the ACCPAC family of software since 1983. He started out doing implementations and training, then began offering customizations, before finally moving to the design and development of custom applications that integrate with ACCPAC. These applications have helped enhance ACCPAC's vertical fit in varied markets such as Property Management, ISPs (Internet Service Providers), Retail, Video Rentals, Human Resources, and Professional Time and Billing. He has also created other value-added applications for ACCPAC, which include Purchase Orders, a PDF Print Server Engine, an ACCPAC SQL Backup and year end utility, EFT systems, and an estimate system that interfaces with ACCPAC order entry. Using his background as the owner of an accounting practice, his extensive business experience and his analytical skills, Mike has taken clients from concept to solution many times using a proven method of interviews and examples. Mike has experience developing in Visual Basic, VB Net, MS ACCESS, Visual FoxPro, Clipper and has experience with SOAP and XML technologies.
